Our Values

Values can be seen as the attitude that turns our faith into action. Therefore values are most important for each Christian, and a quality that we really want to grow through the teaching:Personal values

Personal Values

  1. To know God: Experience the presence of God through personal quiet time (prayer, Bible study) and through participating in the fellowship of believers.

  2. To honour God: Living a life that is a Christian testimony. Participate in worship and praise. Explore own spiritual gifts. Being equipped for ministry.

  3. To proclaim the Good News (Salvation in Christ): Be a personal witness everywhere I go.

Congregational Values

  1. To be a caring fellowship.

  2. To be a equipping fellowship.

  3. To be a missionary fellowship. (ie evangelising)

  4. To be part of and contributing to a bigger fellowship. (city-church, national church, fellowship of all believers)

Leadership Values

  1. Willingness: Always ready to serve the body.

  2. Visions-driven: Each leader a vision-carrier; but also open to expansion of the vision / generating vision within the fellowship

  3. Commitment: Ready to ‘pay the price’ ministry might require.

  4. Accountability: Ready to speak into others life and to let others speak into his/her own life.

  5. Ethics practically: Readiness to let love and long-term goals set the standard above written rules and policies. Always truthful, forthcoming, respecting, reconciling and trust worthy.
